I have used 3 different versions of Broderbund Home Architect and Design programs. All leaving me with the notion,
is this as good as it gets??? So I thought I would try Punch Home Design Platnium after reading the company’s descriptions and features I was ready, but after reading the reviews from folks who have actually used it, well, I think I will save my money for now and get out the paper, ruler and pencil the other reviewer recommended. Hopefully these guys get their acts together and make some major improvements. Thanks for saving me time and money and headachs.

This software is a waste of money! BLECH! It doesn’t even deserve 1 star — it deserves 0 stars. If you ~MUST~ buy landscaping software, I SUPPOSE this MIGHT be okay. I found this software to be IMPOSSIBLE to use, ultimately getting nothing worthwhile or helpful out of it. What I felt was unabated frustration. It is definitely NOT user-friendly. My advise: Don’t bother!
~ I really wish there was a Macintosh version of affordable landscaping software (hardscape, softscape, plantings) costing under $75 or less. There probably ~USED~ to be such software, but Microsoft killed off the maker, as usual.

I really didn’t want to give the Punch Professional Home Design Platinum a 1 star rating but that was the lowest rating I could give. I am not a software engineer or an architect but have expereinced a life time of frustration for the $80 spent on the program.
